The 1950’s were an era when each automobile, including those of the independents (still a vibrant part of the automotive landscape) had its own distinct character. In 1955 many GM cars came into their own and Pontiac followed suit with a beautifully re-styled version of its premiere automobile, the Star Chief. The car’s design included beautiful but restrained chrome, with two sets flanking the Pontiac name and rakishly running the length of the hood, (these “Silver Streaks” had long been a Pontiac styling hallmark), reconfigured side trim, an illuminated Chief mascot (a $10 option) at the head of a jet liner hood ornament and the three elegantly inlaid chrome stars along each side moved from the rear to the front fenders and doors. Moving aft the rear fenders were now integrated into the main body, culminating in a simple, elegant swell, with sweeping fins and elaborate light clusters again eschewed. With its fresh design, at 221 inches overall, a peppy V8, curb weight of 3750 lbs and a price tag of around $2500, the Pontiac Star Chief was a formidable and distinctive full-size car in GM’s ’55 lineup. I bet you haven’t seen a Convertible like this lately! Want to own a tough to find American Classic?! What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low! Yes it is a 1955 Pontiac Star Chief Convertible believe it or not! This car is in very nice shape after being restored and then driven sparingly! The vehicle has the 287 CID 180 hp Strato-Streak V8 motor in it and running well. The engine is backed by a factory automatic with a column shifter. The ODO shows 78,810 but no idea to actual miles, who cares when its in this kind of shape though. The Interior is in beautiful shape with sharp seats, clean door panels and new carpet. The dash is beautiful as well as seen in the pics below. I even snapped a couple under the dash to show the attention to detail this restoration represents. This is a sharp car! This “little” rag top is quite a deal and you will be surprised at the low reserve. This Convertible has great looks and smooth power as well! These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one. It will not disappoint someone looking for a nice example of a sought after and hard to find collector. If you have been looking but can not find a Classic Convertible worthy of your hard earned money look NO further because this is the one! The new finish on the vehicle shows no real wear at all. The interior is very attractive in the white on black color scheme as well. The car is a great tribute to the ‘50’s! I looked underneath and also included photos below. This seems to be a very solid vehicle with completely solid rails and pans showing no decay. Looking at the undercarriage, body mounts, pans and normal wear items it is an obvious recipient of a frame-off restoration! Please pay close attention to the photos and descriptions below as they will answer most if not all of your questions. As always I tried to get as thorough and in depth with the photographs as possible. This vehicle can be had for quite a bit less than what has obviously been invested all for the need of a quick sale. Be careful to not let it get away and please enjoy the auction!

2008 Boulevard C50 805cc
$5500
The Boulevard C50 has the soul of a classic cruiser combined with V-twin performance that gives you a charge every time you twist the throttle. The Boulevard C50′s classic design begins with the flowing lines of its kicked-out front end and pullback handlebars, which perfectly complement its teardrop tank, stepped seat and boldly valanced rear fender. These lines, of course, show off its spacious seating position, which promises a comfortable ride hour after hour. Down the boulevard or out on the highway, the C50′s V-twin powerplant is engineered for pure excitement. With strong low-end and mid-range torque, it accelerates hard from just above idle. Yet, thanks to its advanced engineering, it’s incredibly smooth at highway cruising speeds. It’s time to discover how good a classic cruiser can be – with the 2008 Boulevard C50.

2007 Volkswagen Passat Wagon 2.0T
$14,995
Introduction
With its distinctly European styling and engineering, the Volkswagen Passat has become the car of choice for those bored with mainstream family sedans. Last year, Volkswagen fully redesigned the sedan, making it roomier, more powerful and packed with upscale features. Rear passenger room is especially generous, and the Passat’s 37.7 inches of rear legroom is about an inch more than what’s offered by many competitors.
he Passat’s interior boasts class-leading fit and finish, lending a more upscale feel to the cabin when compared to mainstream family sedans and wagons.
What’s New for 2007
The Wagon Version of the Passatt with the new body style debut’s this year. Other updates this year include the addition of a new adaptive cruise control system, an auxiliary input jack for the audio system, and minor standard feature adjustments.

Body Styles, Trim Levels, and Options
Plenty of standard features come with the car, such as 16-inch steel wheels, a tilt-telescoping steering wheel, leatherette upholstery, air-conditioning, a CD/MP3 player with an auxiliary input jack, cruise control, power windows and locks, keyless entry, power heated mirrors and a trip computer.
Powertrains and Performance
Base and 2.0T models come with a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4 rated for 200 horsepower and 207 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels through a six-speed automatic (standard on the Wolfsburg). We clocked a sedan version running 0-60 mph in 7.7 seconds. 3.6L cars can better that time by about a second.
Safety
Antilock disc brakes, traction control, stability control, a tire-pressure monitor, anti-whiplash front head restraints, front-seat side airbags and full-length head curtain airbags are all standard. Optional for all trims are rear-seat side airbags. In NHTSA crash tests, the 2007 Volkswagen Passat earned four (out of five) stars for its protection of front occupants in head-on collisions. Side-impact tests resulted in five stars for front passengers and four for those in the rear.
Interior Design and Special Features
Every VW Passat presents a comfortable and upscale cabin. Fit and finish is superb and there’s a feeling of precision to all the controls. Starting the car is a bit unusual but easier than the normal stick-the-key-in-and-twist drill. One simply inserts the “key” into an easily seen/accessed slot on the dash and pushes it to start the car.
Driving Impressions
A fully independent suspension along with an impressively rigid structure provides sportier handling than previous generations of the Passat. Factor in the powerful engines and the 2007 Volkswagen Passat makes for one of the most entertaining rides in the midsize segment.
